Because winter is a little milder when we warm up together, the Maison des Vins et du Tourisme invites you to Chô les cœurs!

Secrets of the Farm

Building a nesting box for solitary bees

at the "À Tire d'Aile" Honey Farm

Wednesday 18 February, 2 pm to 4 pm

Do you know the difference between honey bees (often called domestic bees) and solitary bees?
Find out by making your own bee box!
Tour of the honey farm, workshop and honey tasting.

Following the tour of the honey farm, you will be invited to take part in a workshop on solitary bees, including how to identify them, an explanation of their way of life, their importance to our environment, and the differences and similarities between them and our honey bees.
Each participant will make their own nesting box.

Guided tours

From Monday 9 to Friday 13 February and from Monday 16 to Friday 20 February, from 2 pm to 4 pm

Embark on a fabulous journey into the heart of prehistory and the underground world as you explore two caves: a prehistoric cave and a limestone stalactite cave. Extend your visit with a tour of the archaeological museum in the heart of the village of Soyons!

Children’s workshops

From Tuesday 10 February to Thursday 19 February

The ‘Draw like a Cro-Magnon!’ workshop, an introductory workshop on prehistoric excavation, the ‘Adornments’ workshop, the ‘Prehistoric Hunting’ workshop, and finally the ‘Engrave like a Cro-Magnon!’ workshop... children (aged 6 or 7 and over) will discover prehistory in a fun way and will remember their journey in the footsteps of Neanderthal man!
